Elizabeth Tilley Howland Scholarship Award Winner for 2022

This year’s winner of the Elizabeth Tilley Howland Scholarships is James Goss. James is the son of SMDPA member Daryl Goss. James graduated from Abington High School and plans to attend West Chester University. Our congratulations to James as this year’s recipient of the Elizabeth Tilley Howland $1000 Scholarship Award.

The runner up essay was written by Patrick Sullivan.  SMDPA decided to award a one-off 2022 Society of Mayflower Descendants in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Covid Perseverance Scholarship Prize of $500.  Patrick will be attending Mercyhurst University.  The text of his essay can be found here.
