As Co-Editor of the Pennsylvania Mayflower newsletter, I am always looking for new content to pass along to our members. Recently, I received an email from GenealogyBank.com https://www.genealogybank.com/ -- a newspaper research site of which I am a subscriber. The hyperlink in the email took me to a blog titled Mayflower Descendants: Who's Who, Part 9. My first thought was, "well, this looks very interesting." Then my second thought was, "how did I miss the first eight parts of this series?" The series was written by Melissa Davenport Berry, a genealogist, writer, and researcher currently employed by GenealogyBank as a blogger. Berry has private clients which include Mayflower applicants, and she is working to prove her own connection to Pilgrim Thomas Rogers. She is from Greensburg, PA, so once she gains approval, she will join the ranks of SMDPA!
