The DNA Committee invite and encourage Plymouth area people to attend this debut of structured education. We believe the program is ideal in showing how DNA and Genealogy can work together in eliminating many of our “stone walls.” We trust that members of the Plymouth area genealogical societies and others will appreciate this opportunity without having to travel far from home. We hope to see a large turnout and are excited about this new program.

The seminar is being supported by private donations. There is no fee and you do not need to be a Mayflower member. In order to determine attendance, the committee does request that people pre-register.

Since early 2007 our speaker Darren Marin has been with Family Tree DNA which is associated with the Arizona Research Labs, one of the world’s leading authorities in the field of Y-DNA genetics. He is a California native who graduated from the University of Houston with a Degree in Italian Studies. Darren’s interest in his own family roots helped draw him to Family Tree DNA where he has become a favorite speaker.
